The Five Reiki Principles: An Overview of Each Principle (2)

Just for today... I KNOW Reiki.

In addition to quantifying and substantiating the Reiki system we use in the western world, for which I will always be grateful, Dr. Mikao Usui also compiled five core principles to live by.

These five Reiki principles, if we really lived them to the fullest every day, would give us that heaven on earth.

By practicing them in our lives, we can incorporate the healing energy of Reiki and "BE Reiki" just for today. (Hey, I'll take it!)

Reiki Principle #1 Just for Today I'm Not Worried

Because I am fascinated by our subconscious and because it cannot hear words like "no" and "no", I like to teach students in my Reiki courses how to slightly modify this principle:

Just for today I will trust.

Isn't it nice just to say it? I understand that Mikao Usui didn't have the resources that we have - hmm, like the Internet? – so I love the beginning of it too. In fact, I teach both, so choose whichever works best for you.

It's not a good idea? Since worry always boils down to fear of the future, fear of something that hasn't happened yet, what if you trusted?

What if, just for today, you trusted that everything that happens in your life is for your highest good? If you trusted and knew Spirit, Source, God, yourself, whatever you want, if you knew everything would be okay? Because it goes. Forks.

Reiki Principle #2 - Just for Today I Will Not Be Angry

Let's change this according to the use of language that our subconscious receives and understands, okay?

Just for today I let go and feel peace.

Y.Y.Y

Anger and resentment arise from the desire to be able to change the past. Unfortunately we cannot, but we can adapt our present and change the future.

When we stop wishing the past were different, we open ourselves to the beauty of the present moment and the peace that is always available to us.

What if today, just for today, you hadn't passed? Was your past a blank slate, and so was your future? How liberating! What if, just for today, you said, “I forgive everyone everything. Especially me.

Reiki Principle #3: Just for Today I Will Be Thankful

When we are grateful for what is in our lives right now, we attract more good things. Like attracts like. And being grateful shifts our energy from lack to lack. For example, if you feel like you don't have this and you don't have that, you are sending a lack message to the universe. And according to the Law of Attraction, that feeling of lack will attract even more lack.

Likewise, when you send a thank you and have message to the universe, you will attract more to "have" and more to be grateful for. Your thoughts are powerful. Please use them carefully.

You shift your energy to gratefully attract what you want into your life. Is that not reason enough to practice this Reiki principle?

Reiki Principle #4 - Just for Today I Will Do My Job Honestly

Doing your work honestly gives your life meaning and purpose. Unfortunately, we don't just talk about being honest with each other. The most important person to be honest with is yourself. You can only lie to yourself long enough before it consumes you.

Someone doing their job. And a Reiki symbol with it.

So perhaps ask yourself some tough questions, which though they may be tough right now, will pay off immensely in your lifetime enjoyment. you do what you want to do If not, why not?

If you feel like you don't know what you want to do, that's okay too. Everything is part of your path.

But maybe you're starting to think about what you like to do, what activities you forget about, what time it is and where you spend your time. Perhaps try to incorporate more of these into your life. Because "work" doesn't just refer to money.

When you're doing something that fulfills your passion, where you feel so complete and truly alive, don't you feel like you're doing your "job" honestly? Yes.

Reiki Principle #5 - Just for Today I Will Be Kind to All Living Things

This style speaks for itself, doesn't it? What you give, they give back to you multiplied by ten. Also, it's nice to send love to everyone you meet on your day.

I did "experiments" where we gave everyone who crossed our path that day the token of unconditional love right in their heart chakra. How good do you think I felt that day? Quite impressive. Yes, this Reiki is already good.

So, just for today, try to incorporate these principles. Or maybe focus on one at a time. “Just for today I will trust”, or “Just for today I will be grateful”. Something tells me you'll be very happy with the results.

    Hello Reiki Masters,

My favorite tip is to add Bach flower essences to my Reiki sessions. First I say the principles, then I use the essences. It's not just about memorizing the principles for me, it's more about really loving your emotions and seeing how they should be expressed on that particular day. Anger can sometimes be necessary for me as it is the energy of transformation. I still think they are valuable, I just want to say that Reiki Masters shouldn't feel bad if they can't follow them every day. we are human

    good post,

    Yolanda

    Hello,

I took an online Reiki course, Karuna Reiki. I am happy to report that I give myself Reiki every day and it works wonderfully! I'm glad I disclaim and have a post about Reiki principles in my office. While it is very difficult to tell yourself that you will never be upset or worried again, especially when your child comes home late, remember that it is possible. We can tell ourselves these things and maybe we'll start to believe it. At least for today.

Good Ryan! Isn't that a wonderful approach? We think it's good for you to try one principle after another. Especially when we are new to working with the Reiki principles, five can be a little overwhelming. They really give you clear focus. Good luck, let us know how it works for you!
