A beard isn't always a bad thing, but it can be. It seems there are enough men in Hollywood confused about what a beard is supposed to do. If someone doesn't have a very pretty face, it doesn't matter, but men who do shouldn't cover it with too much facial hair. Still, some of Hollywood's most popular male celebrities have opted for beards, with disastrous results. Since handsome men should never hide their faces, we decided to take a look at the most disgusting celebrity beards. Here are 7 guys who should reconsider before they let their facial hair get out of hand again!
7. Ryan Gosling
Ryan Gosling looks good with a small beard. With just a touch at the nape of the neck, it looks more masculine; However, when his beard grows, it looks heavy. Beards are not Gosling's friend. Someone must warn him so that in the future he can prevent another one from growing. Her facial structure is too good to hide behind curly hair.
The last time the Oscar-nominated actor grew a beard was when he landed the role of a father in The Lovely Bones. He gained 30 pounds and grew ugly facial hair to look older. The director, Fran Walsh, wasn't happy. That wasn't the direction he wanted to go. He wanted Gosling to age with hair and makeup. They eventually broke up due to these creative differences. Walsh cast Mark Wahlberg in the role and Gosling remained 130 pounds overweight with a very ugly beard.

Jared Leto is pretty underrated when it comes to looks. When he was younger everyone knew how attractive he was because he didn't try to hide it; However, she has hidden her beauty from the public for years. He has long hair, has grown a beard and changed his clothes. The only way to describe your style right now is in one word: bizarre. He's a far cry from the hot man he was in Requiem for a Dream.
We really don't like anything about her new look; However, we're not sure which we hate more: his long hair or his ridiculous beard. Because of all the unnecessary hair, we can no longer enjoy your perfect facial structure and it bothers us! If he wasn't so talented, we would have written him off long ago.

5. Bradley Cooper
Bradley Cooper is a feast for the eyes. He has great facial structure, cool blue eyes and an amazing smile. He almost always looks good freshly shaved. However, if he wears a beard, it's a different story. A lot of neck makes it look heavier. He's got such chiseled features, but they don't really stand out unless he's really holding back his beard—and by holding back, we mean it's gone.
We may not like the beard; However, we don't mind if he has a bit of a beard. However, the key is to keep it to a minimum. Once you let it slide, he comes across as more of a drifter than a top-flight star. We've seen this happen to many male celebrities. Once they start growing beards, their appearance changes completely and not for the better!

4. Tom Hardy
Tom Hardy is unconventionally attractive; however, there is no denying that it has a certain je ne sais quoi. Here at Fame10 we have something for the English actor, but only if he doesn't have that hideous facial hair. Turns out he really liked his beard. When asked if he could shave for a photoshoot, he was quite defensive. "I'm not going to shave my beard. Shaving my beard would mean cutting off my fucking balls. You know what I mean? Without her I'm nothing... now I'm a lie. Why should I do that?"
We get why he doesn't want to shave for a photoshoot: he's obviously a man who likes to do what he wants and doesn't like being told what to do. That being said, we think the beard will definitely age you. This will show off all your wrinkles a lot more.

3. Mel Gibson
It's been a long time since Mel Gibson was considered one of the sexiest men alive; However, we must not forget that he once held the title. I was at the top of the world at the time. She had many jobs, a bushy head of hair and a lot of respect in the film industry. All of that has changed, but that doesn't mean you have to give up entirely. He needs to get everything back, and we don't even see him halfway through with that ridiculous two-toned beard he's grown. It's bad on so many levels.
Like most famous men, Gibson looks best when he's clean-shaven. He'll never be the handsome young man he was before, but that doesn't mean he should give up completely. He's still got a few more years in the film industry, so if he wants to be taken a little more seriously, he should probably shed his beard.

2. Brad Pitt
Brad Pitt is beautiful. She has a perfect facial structure, great skin and great hair. But for all his genetic gifts, from time to time he gets carried away by a really unattractive beard that doesn't suit him at all. If anything suits him, it's his clean-shaven look. Alongside him, we've spotted Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie sporting some of the most repulsive facial hair Hollywood has ever seen.
Pitt says boredom is one of the reasons people grow beards. You'd think raising six kids and having a successful film career wouldn't leave much time for boredom, but here we are! He really needs to stop growing facial hair, he's too good for that!

1. Andres Garfield
These days, Andrew Garfield seems more like a caveman than an A-list actor. The only way to recognize him is that he has his beautiful girlfriend Emma Stone on his arm, and given the look of his disgusting beard, she might not want to be publicly associated with him much longer. We don't know what made him grow a beard. We're hoping it's for a movie role ("Teen Wolf" maybe?) and not because he's completely given up his looks.
